Who We Are
We love to work with runners of all ages and abilities. If you are looking to improve, then we are here to help you. Yet most of our clients seek us fall into one of two categories.
(1) Experienced runners who want to take their performance to the next level.
You want to find the most efficient ways to gain speed, power, and fine tune your training and nutrition.
We have the background in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, nutrition, as well as proven real world experience to get you there.
(2) Runners who are recovering from an injury, or who have a history of chronic injury and they are trying to avoid a recurrence.
We work hard to identify that root cause of those injuries through functional movement screens, special orthopedic testing, and biomechanical gait analysis.
We have worked with people recovering from major surgeries, broken bones, torn muscles, and even mild strokes. With a physical therapist as one your coaches, we feel like we can handle whatever running related injuries might come up and take care of them quickly.
Our History together
Coaches Suzi and Dr. Stephanie began working together in 2016.
Suzi had asked Stephanie about the possibility of being her Coach. Suzi was already an accomplished ultra runner, having won the Woodstock 100 mile race in a time of just over 20 hours. Yet she wanted to improve even more.
Suzi was already a master at writing running programs. She just needed someone to help her with nutrition and staying resilient and injury free in the face of sometimes 100 mile training weeks. With Stephanie’s background in exercise physiology, physical therapy, optimizing human performance, nutrition, and injury prevention, it seemed like the perfect fit.
Since they began working together, Suzi has slashed almost four hours from her 100 mile time. She has set numerous course records (even breaking the men’s course record at St. Pats 24 hour race), won two Badwater races (Cape Fear and Salton Sea, just one month apart in 2018), and now has her sights on the US National 24 hour team.
Eventually they knew that their winning formula should be shared with other runners who want to improve.
That is how Evolve came to be….
